Kevin has pursued his calling to service in Christian higher education for over 24 years. He most recently served at Judson College in Marion, Alabama, as Vice President for Enrollment and Communications. Kevin and his team in the admissions, financial aid, and marketing departments led the college to a 30% increase in new student enrollment over the previous year. Before his time at Judson, he spent ten years at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, serving as the chief enrollment officer. He led his team to recruit the largest first-year student class in the history of the university. Before his service at Howard Payne, Kevin served in enrollment management for 13 years at his alma mater, Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Kevin has successfully managed all aspects of new student enrollment such as recruitment strategy and planning, student search, communication flow, admissions counseling, strategic planning, guest experiences, visit events, professional development and training, volunteer recruitment programming, student financial assistance strategy, marketing, communications, and telecounseling.

He has been active in leadership roles in the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), the National Association of Baptist Enrollment Professionals (NABEP), and the Collegiate Information and Visitor Services Association (CIVSA). Kevin has been in partnership with external companies over his career, which has shown him the importance of collaboration and teamwork to achieve excellence in Christian higher education. He desires to continue in those collective efforts as he partners with colleges and universities to engage students and other constituents through the resources provided by Clark Higher Ed.

Kevin earned a master’s degree in business administration from Howard Payne University and a bachelor’s degree in earth science from Baylor University.

Kevin and his wife, Lauren, live in Early, Texas with two spoiled terrier-mix dogs, Mollie and Honey. Kevin and Lauren have been blessed with three beautiful grown daughters along with two amazing sons-in-law: Lindsey and Austin, Bethany and Logan, and Aubrey. Kevin enjoys doing anything with his family, especially traveling, hiking, kayaking, watching college sports, and enjoying great movies.
